Although the day is designed to help accomplish service projects, the hope is for each volunteer to walk away becoming more like the Jesus we see in scripture. Heart Humboldt is on a specific date, April 10- one week after Easter, representing the first gathering after the resurrection. Maybe, by serving our community and being love to others, we can somehow become more like Jesus.
